Contract: Fixed-Term, Full-TimeHours: Shift pattern, 48 hours per week (including nights and weekends)Salary: 20,000 MXP MonthlyStart Date: ASAPWhat The Job Is All AboutWe are searching to find tracking systems operators to join our expanding Baseball Operations team. Based out of our regional office in Mexico City, this is an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of sports technology in top-flight sports leagues as part of a passionate and dynamic team. While we provide a number of services in MLB, your primary focus will be on the live operational delivery of our tracking technology for MLB games during the MLB Spring Training & Regular Season. You will be provided comprehensive technical training, and once training is complete, you will be assigned operational shifts based in our SONY Mexico City Office, operating remote support to our clients around the US. You will be working with our team in the US, who operate out of our Atlanta, GA office. Due to the nature of live Baseball operations, In-season, you will need to be prepared to work nights and weekends. Example Shift Times - 8-hour shifts would typically fall between the hours of 10 am and midnight, with the most common shift being 3:00 pm to 12:00 am. Key ResponsibilitiesConducting pre-game checks of the systems in accordance with standard procedures and solving problems in a timely manner when issues arise. Operating the technologies during the game remotely from the SONY Mexico City Office. Liaising with other operators and supervisors in our US office in Atlanta, GA. Liaising with MLB and MLB Teams personnel, both on-site and remotely. Providing real-time, quality data to MLB / MLB Teams. Taking full responsibility for our data integrity for the games assigned to you. Proactively flagging and escalating issues that can prevent us from delivering live data to MLB. Skills, Knowledge, ExperienceEssential:A good technical groundingExcellent communication and teamwork skillsAbility to liaise with clients and customers in a professional and approachable manner, with the ability to converse with / write to customers and other staff in English. Logical problem-solving abilityProactive and able to take initiativeExcellent attention to detail Ability to remain focused in a high-pressure, live sports environmentFlexible and adaptable to a schedule that is dictated by the game schedule and can change at short notice (including weekends and holidays)MUST speak English and be comfortable working with English-speaking colleaguesNice to Have:Experience using the Windows ecosystem and knowledge of networking principlesA keen interest in BaseballIdeally, with a background in Baseball AnalyticsIdeally with/studying towards a Degree with a technical focus, such as a science, technology, graphics, mathematics or engineering course, or relevant equivalent experienceAt Hawk-Eye Innovations, we appreciate and value the importance of potential and growth.
