Job Title: Remote Fiesta Transcribing Specialist Department: Claims Reports To: Claims Manager Location: Remote Job Type: Part-time Job Summary: The Remote Fiesta Transcribing Specialist will be responsible for accurately transcribing audio and video recordings into written documentation across various departments of Fiesta Auto Insurance. This includes transcription of claims-related interviews, customer service interactions, legal proceedings, and internal meetings. The ideal candidate will have strong listening skills, an eye for detail, and the ability to work independently while adhering to company confidentiality and data protection standards. This position offers the flexibility of working from home while ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of transcriptions that support the company’s claims processing, legal activities, and customer service needs. Key Responsibilities: • Claims Documentation: • Transcribe recorded conversations between claims adjusters and policyholders, ensuring accurate capture of information related to accidents, claims, and policy details. • Produce detailed, error-free transcripts that are accessible for claims review and processing by claims adjusters. • Ensure all transcriptions follow company formatting and quality standards. • Customer Service Call Transcriptions: • Convert recorded customer service calls, including claims inquiries, policy updates, and customer feedback, into comprehensive written transcripts. • Identify key information within the transcriptions such as claim numbers, customer queries, and complaint details. • Maintain high-quality standards in transcribing complex conversations, including ensuring clarity and accuracy. • Legal Transcription: • Transcribe legal proceedings such as depositions, hearings, or other insurance-related legal proceedings to ensure accurate documentation of the case. • Utilize correct legal terminology and ensure that all documents are formatted according to the legal industry’s standards. • Work closely with the legal department to ensure transcriptions are timely and meet necessary legal requirements for filing and case review. • Internal Meetings and Training Transcriptions: • Transcribe recordings from internal team meetings, training sessions, and company webinars. • Provide transcriptions for internal documents, policy updates, and employee training materials. • Ensure all transcriptions are delivered on time and are ready for distribution to relevant teams or departments. • Quality Control and Accuracy: • Proofread and edit transcriptions to ensure they are free of errors, clear, and comprehensive. • Meet set deadlines for transcriptions and ensure all required documents are submitted in a timely manner. • Maintain consistency and accuracy in transcription, even when dealing with various accents, technical jargon, or complex legal and insurance terminology. • Collaboration with Departments: • Communicate regularly with the claims, legal, and customer service teams to understand their specific transcription needs and priorities. • Provide updates on transcription progress and notify relevant parties if any challenges arise in meeting deadlines. • Participate in virtual meetings or conference calls as needed to clarify any points or to ensure transcription requirements are understood. • Confidentiality and Compliance: • Ensure that all transcribed documents and information remain confidential and adhere to all applicable data protection regulations (such as GDPR or HIPAA). • Follow all company protocols regarding the handling and storage of sensitive information. • Remote Work Requirements: • Utilize personal, high-speed internet connection and transcription software to complete tasks remotely. • Stay organized and self-motivated to manage transcription tasks effectively without supervision. • Attend virtual meetings or conference calls as needed for team collaboration or project discussions.
