Collect, clean, and analyze economic data (GDP, inflation, interest rates, exchange rates, debt, trade flows, etc.).Develop and maintain econometric models (DSGE, VAR/SVAR, Taylor Rule frameworks, etc.) to support forecasting and scenario analysis.Monitor central bank policies, government announcements, and global economic developments, and assess their implications.Prepare research briefs, reports, charts, and presentation materials for internal and external stakeholders.Build and update databases, ensuring accuracy and consistency of data.Support economist and other analysts in thematic policy studies and special projects.Translate quantitative analysis into clear insights for decision-makers.
Applicant Profile
Bachelor’s degree in Economics (Hons), with specialization in econometrics preferred.At least 1 year of work experience in economic research or a related field.Solid academic background in macroeconomics, microeconomics, international economics, and quantitative analysis.Proficiency in statistical and econometric software (STATA, Excel; knowledge of R or EViews is advantageous).Strong written and verbal communication skills.High attention to detail, analytical rigor, and a strong work ethic.Experience working with macroeconomic, financial, or policy-related datasets.Familiarity with forecasting models and advanced quantitative methodsAbility to present complex findings in a clear and concise manner.Motivation to stay updated on global and domestic economic developments.Strong problem-solving skills, intellectual curiosity, and a collaborative mindset.
