Their use case is a prime example of how dynamic, robust, and transformative Basis truly is. This passionate and highly efficient team embodies Raving Fan service with their customers and colleagues by striving for excellence and accuracy in everything they do. You will report to the Dir, Credit & Operations and support the department by evaluating customer credit health to minimize bad debt exposure. You will perform credit application review and approval, review credit increase requests, monitor existing credit limits for active customers and work under the guidelines of our credit insurance policy. WAYS YOU'LL CONTRIBUTE Performing all new customer credit checks within the designated threshold and tracking contract information for account setupReviewing and compiling client credit risk data by using third-party credit reporting services, client-provided credit references, and publicly-available information to make credit limit decisions, escalating findingsto senior team members as neededGathering and organizing documentation for high-dollar credit limits, extended terms requests, and credit reviews for limits outside of the insurance coverage threshold to share this information with the appropriate approver for decision-making Preparing professional, thoughtful and persuasive email communication for Sales and other departments regarding credit approvals, denials, and requests for more informationEntering new customer account information in NetSuite and initial funding transactions for new customer credit lines with a focus on accuracy and timelinessRequesting credit coverage through the credit insurer’s platform and making credit insurance updates to NetSuiteReviewing existing credit limits and making proactive credit adjustments as neededCollaborating cross-functionally on any updates or impacts to AR processes or systems and working directly with the Collections team to evaluate risk for past due accounts WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE 1-2 years experience in a Finance roleStrong analytical and decision-making skillsAbility to prioritize multiple tasks that have different scopesComfortable with working independently while meeting all deadlines and goalsProficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and OutlookExcellent written communication skills BONUS POINTS Experience in the digital advertising industryBusiness degreeNetSuite experienceExperience with third-party credit reporting services such as Dun and Bradstreet, Experian, Credit Risk Monitor, Moody’s etc. Additional Information ANYTHING ELSE?
