Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Customer Support Representative to join our team in Illinois, USA. As a key member of our call center operations, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our patients and customers. Key Responsibilities As a Customer Support Representative, you will be responsible for: Utilizing Walgreens' remedy information section strategies and rules to process new patient enrollment by entering information into the proper system. Handling patient medication requests within HIPAA guidelines and entering refill orders for processing. Investigating to obtain missing medication data, and deciphering clinical abbreviations (SIG codes). Settling all information passage-related exceptions. Handling correspondence to patients (inbound calls, visits, messages) and making outbound calls to prescribers and patients as necessary. Settling on phone calls to guarantors and others to obtain data, gain abrogate endorsement, or otherwise settle the patient's issue. Providing support to pharmacists, both those in the office and those at other locations. Recognizing and conveying issues to senior-level staff as necessary. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A Bachelor's degree in a related field. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal. Basic level computer skills, including starting and closing a computer, using a mouse to point and click, starting and closing programs, switching between programs, saving files, printing documents, and accessing data online. Basic web browser skills, including opening a program, composing in URLs in the right field, using a search engine, bookmarking a website, navigating using back/forward/stop buttons, and completing forms online. Moderate level keyboarding skills, including typing at least 25 WPM, typing by memory, and organizing documents. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications would be beneficial: Experience providing customer support to internal and external clients, including meeting quality standards for services and assessing customer satisfaction. Intermediate to advanced level keyboarding skills, including typing at least 35 WPM, typing by memory, and designing documents. Familiarity with Spanish and English.
