Ideally this position will support 3 Commercial Compass product environments. You will be working with customers based in North America. For this role, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented DevOps Engineer with experience developing and automating cloud software. You’ll work with many AWS offerings and open-source tools. You’ll help define Infor’s next-generation CI/CD pipeline, as well as monitoring metrics and analytics infrastructure while working with key stakeholders throughout the enterprise to help us deliver multi-tenant applications to customers in the cloud. You’ll work with a great team and will be able to learn new skills on a daily basis. A Day In The Life Typically Includes:Implement code and automation for cloud-based applications and microservices, both front and back endCollaborate with other developers and departments to ensure high quality software and timely deliveryParticipate in agile standups and perform code reviewMaintain comprehensive documentation for new and existing systems and proceduresMaintain and enhance existing systems based on user feedback Ensure that unit and system tests are automated, per quality assurance requirementsOptimize performance and scalability as necessary to meet the business goals of application and environmentTake on other projects and responsibilities as necessary Analyze and troubleshoot issues and bring to resolutionOperational On-Call responsibilitiesBasic Qualifications:Experience working with Python or another server-side programming language such as JavaExperience developing and consuming REST APIsExperience in automating AWS infrastructure deployments with CloudFormation, CodeDeploy, etcExperience working with Jenkins or an equivalent CI toolExperience working with Git and source controlExperience with agile development best practicesEnglish verbal and written communication skillsPreferred Qualifications: Experience with AWS DynamoDB or another NoSQL database engineExperience with data streaming service architectures using tools such as Apache KafkaExperience working with AWS application services including SQS, SNS, Lambda/Step FunctionsExperience with core AWS networking and computer services (EC2, autoscaling groups, VPC, Route53)One or more of the AWS Associate level certifications (Developer, Solutions Architect, SysOps)Experience building elastic applications in the AWS cloudLocation:Hybrid role – 3 days in Mexico City office, 2 days remote-basedAbout InforInfor is a global leader in business cloud software products for companies in industry specific markets.
